The series premiered on Cartoon Network on April 18, 2008, in the United States, with its Canadian premiere on Teletoon on September 6, 2008, and ended on March 26, 2010. The Omnitix itself, a wristwatch-shaped device, allows Ben to transform into numerous alien forms, thereby inheriting the unique abilities of that alien race. It also was nominated for four Emmy Awards, winning one for Outstanding Sound Mixing — Live Action and Animation. The Emperor's majordomo, Raff, seeks out Kevin to help on the search. They succeed in obtaining it and use it to return themselves to their former states only to find it has stripped them both entirely of their powers. Using a leftover Laser Lance, Gwen is able to trace it back to its original owners. The first one they encounter is a young man named Michael Morningstar.
Ken has been infected by one of the Xenocytes, but Ben is able to remove it with the help of the voice-automated Omnitrix The team is at one of Julie's tennis matches. After winning a soccer game and meeting a girl named Julie, he visits Grandpa Max only to discover that he's disappeared. The creature seems to be aging everything it touches at an accelerated rate. Elsewhere, out in the forest, a small dog-like Galvanic Mechomorph seeps out of a crashed spaceship. Since Michael has all the Plumber's gear of his late father, as well as the fact that he seems to have been helping his city using his yellow-colored energy-controlling abilities Gwen's older brother, Ken, is missing and Gwen asks for Ben and Kevin's help to find him. They decide to stake out the area for a while until the woman shows up again. Unless she is returned, Milleous plans to destroy the Earth.
After trying to fight him, the team soon formally meet the man known as Paradox Kevin has arranged a meeting for Ben with the Forever Knights, who need help in slaying a dragon they have kept captive underneath their castle for 1,000 years. In the assuring battle, the Dam is broken, flooding everything. The wait for three whole nights, and their patience is rewarded The team faces off against a Techadon robot seemingly intent on destroying them. The team is at one of Julie's tennis matches. When the team tries to meet her, she disappears. Gwen tells Ben to ask Julie to go on a date with him to a local boardwalk amusement park the Pier, and after an awkward attempt by Ben to ask her, Julie agrees, and they go.
Kevin meets with an old friend of his named Argit, who claims he knows the location of a particular piece of alien tech Kevin is looking for. With an Omnitrix full of all new alien heroes, Ben sets out to find Grandpa Max and thwart an alien invasion. Kevin grabs the severed hand of the robot possibly planning to put its defense mechanisms in his car. In the ensuing confrontation, Magister Labrid is killed when he saves Kevin's life, and Kevin joins Ben and Gwen on their search for Max to repay that debt. Using a leftover Laser Lance, Gwen is able to trace it back to its original owners.
But he can't do it all alone. Shortly after they begin their trek in space, the Omnitrix malfunctions and turns Ben into an Appoplexian named Rath who wants to fight anything that breaths. Kevin meets with an old friend of his named Argit, who claims he knows the location of a particular piece of alien tech Kevin is looking for. Alan is wearing a Plumber's badge, which the local sheriff triggers when he confiscates it. Slaying the dragon is the very reason their organization exists.
Set five years after the end of the original series, Ben Tennyson, now a teenager, once again dons the Omnitrix to protect the earth and other parts of the universe from vilinous alien activity. The badge signals Kevin's badge, which leads Ben, Kevin and Gwen to Alan, thinking Alan's badge is Max's. Elsewhere, out in the forest, a small dog-like Galvanic Mechomorph seeps out of a crashed spaceship. Using Gwen's powers to track her, they teleport to a nearby dam to rescue her. The series was originally produced under the working title of Ben 10: Hero Generation. Later, the team goes to Mr. The series takes a different turn than its predecessor, taking on a darker tone.
